Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for its BioFlex Low Intensity
Laser Therapy (LILT) system. The Meditech BioFlex system is the
most advanced LILT system currently available incorporating both

and control over treatment parameters. The system also includes
software to manage patient records and treatment history, as well
as Anatomy TutorTM software which can assist the therapists proper
positioning of the treatment heads and to explain the treatment
to patients.
Meditechs
BioFlex unit uses semiconductor laser sources and superluminous
light emitting diodes (LED) as a source of light that is used to
treat soft tissue injuries and pain. This treatment modality has
been used for many years, but only recently has it received FDA
approval and entered mainstream medicine.
This
approval will allow us to market our product in the U.S. as well
as making it easier for us to market in other parts of the world,
stated Dr. Fred Kahn, President and CEO of Meditech International.
We have worked diligently to produce the best laser therapy
system in the world and are now poised to take full advantage of
all of our hard work.
Meditechs
BioFlex system is currently being used in Canada, the US, Europe
and the Middle East to treat a variety of medical conditions. These
include sports, soft tissue and repetitive motion injuries in addition
to arthritis. Laser therapy has shown dramatic effectiveness in
the treatment of these conditions. Meditech owns and operates a
rehabilitation clinic that is used to treat patients, gather clinical
information and as a training centre for therapists including MDs,
physiotherapists, chiropractors and sports therapists. Access to
the clinic has allowed Meditech to refine and optimize the BioFlex
product and to develop unique treatment protocols for a wide variety
of pathologies.
Meditech International
Inc. is a leader in the emerging field of low intensity laser therapy
systems and applications. Meditech develops and manufactures its
products and markets them worldwide through a combination of direct
sales and distributors. Meditech will now be expanding its marketing
and sales efforts in the U.S. Meditechs BioFlex system is
